Even with a great skeleton, parts, and garage, you only scale when the whole team can wield them. FDE Academy is the hands-on training site that gets Dawell Service FDEs using the standarda system and server infrastructure, and the AI-native development methodology, equally well. In a word, the goal is to level everyone up — whoever takes it on, the same stack, the same workflow, the same quality.
Go to education.popupstudio.ai ↗What keeps us from growing the number of projects isn't people, it's the skill gap between FDE team members. You can't scale on a structure where only the strong performers perform. So the goal of the training isn't to grow a few more standouts — it's to raise the whole team's floor, so whoever takes it on, the result is the same.
Starting from the foundations, through skeleton, parts, methodology, workflow, and quality, you finally build an agent feature yourself end-to-end.
Why this training, the dev environment and git/PR, and creating a new project — laying the foundation.
Understand the Django project structure, shared apps, settings split, and docs system, then add features on top.
Use the Google clients, standard_utils, and LLM parts, and contribute back to core when needed.
Claude Code, CLAUDE.md & Memory, skills, agents, hooks — the fundamentals of AI-native development.
One /develop cycle, spec→plan→code, and the development flow that runs through issues and the backlog.
Coding conventions, testing, and code review; production deploys and understanding the server; and how to spread lessons across the team.
Tie it all together and build a small agent feature yourself, from start to finish.
An onboarding track that packs environment setup, a first project, and a first agent built with core into a short, concentrated run.
Create a project with cookiecutter → add features on top of template → use and contribute to core → develop with the agentic workflow → all the way to a PR that meets the quality rules.
We walk through the lesson notes on a shared screen, and end with a small hands-on exercise and Q&A right there.
The lesson notes are complete reading material that captures the full flow, so even those who miss a session can read and keep up.
Each learner logs in, and lesson completion is recorded and synced to the server. We watch the whole team's progress together.
* The FDE Academy site (education.popupstudio.ai) is itself built with standarda-template and runs on the server infrastructure —
proving the training content with the training tools themselves.
At FDE Academy, you can see for yourself how Dawell Service FDEs grow to the same standard.
